During the course of 2006, AI Othman Group took a decision to expand its core businesses with the construction of a Grating Manufacturing Plant.
We have installed the latest state-of-the-art Austrian (EVG) grating manufacturing plant.
The last quarter of 2006 saw the final commissioning of the EVG machine and production commenced at once. USG now manufactures electro-forged open steel grating to all of the recognized international standards and supplies grating as either standard panels (normally as 6m X 1m but other sizes can be manufactured on request) or as fully shop fabricated tailor made gratings along with any necessary stair treads all produced in accordance with the customer’s specification and requirements.
